Dr Sam Spencer is a dual qualified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. After completing a Bachelor of Dental Surgery at University of Adelaide, Dr Spencer worked in general dental practice in Sydney prior to returning to Adelaide to complete a Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery.
Dr Spencer gained early exposure and experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Royal Adelaide Hospital and Royal Hobart Hospital before moving to Perth, Western Australia, for his specialist surgical training. He subsequently went on to complete a Fellowship in Maxillofacial Trauma and Orthognathic Surgery at Royal Melbourne Hospital, before returning to Adelaide to settle with his wife and children.
Dr Spencer enjoys a broad scope of practice, with particular interest in corrective jaw surgery (orthognathic surgery), oral surgery and facial trauma.
Having been raised on a farm in New Zealand, in his spare time Dr Spencer likes to enjoy the outdoors, especially mountain biking throughout the greater Adelaide region, as well as the company of his family and friends.
