Oral Maxillofacial Surgery is a highly specialised field that bridges the gap between Dentistry, Medicine and Surgery.  This specialty serves the surgical management of conditions of the teeth, mouth, face and jaw.

Since 1978, Oromax (formerly East Adelaide Oral Maxillofacial Clinic) has been providing patients with a dedicated practice to ensure Excellence and Care for patients requiring Oral Maxillofacial services.

Today, Oromax is one of a handful of Oral Maxillofacial practices in Australia to include both Clinic (initial consultation) along with a specialised, fully accredited Day Hospital Surgery Centre.

In June 2021, Oromax re-located to its brand new purpose-built facilities in Kent Town, Adelaide. Offering modern spaces, the practice was built to support the patient journey of care – from initial appointment to our fully accredited Private Day Hospital. The state-of-the-art facilities hosts a highly trained and experienced team of oral and maxillofacial surgeons, anaesthetists and nursing staff, who will make your treatment as pleasant as possible.

Our philosophy is to put the patient first, provide physical and emotional comfort and strive for the highest standard of care. We also focus on prompt and accurate communication between all stakeholders – referrer, patient and Oromax staff and surgeons.
